Godwin Murambiwa is the MD of Cochrane Pumps and is responsible for all projects, he has been with the Company since 1989 and has nearly 30 years experience in designing, selection and troubleshooting of pumps Godwin has extensive experience in major projects having been involved with the Zimchem Project(+/-300 units installed at the Redcliff Plant) and installing 9 positive displacement pumps on the Mteri Dam Lowveld Project recently He has been involved in assisting Mines with Water Supply and Industrial Projects in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique. Godwin is a keen Martial Artist and has been involved with the Zimbabwe Rugby Union as a Coach and adviser for many years.

Tich is our sales representative and will assist in helping you choose the correct pump for your applications. His interests include outdoor activities such as camping, hiking , mountain climbing, and fishing, playing rugby, watching sports and exploring.

David is responsible for the Administration and Accounts side of the business. He has been with the company for the last 8 years. He is a holder of an Applied Accounting Degree From Brookes Oxford University and ACCA accounting qualification. He enjoys reading and travelling.

Kudzanayi joined Cochrane in April 2022 as the Production Supervisor. He has over 15 years experience in the pump industry and has also worked in South Africa and Mozambique. He has extensive knowledge in various pump models and brands including KSB, Grundfos, Sulzer among others. He is responsible for the procurement, ordering, and quality control of all parts required for the manufacturing of the Cen range of end suction centrifugal pumps. He is also responsible for all site work, installations, fault-finding and commissioning. His interests include travelling and sightseeing and he is also an avid rugby fan.

Phillip Magadzire is the Sales Manager at Cochrane Pump and is responsible for all activities in the Sales Department which include marketing, field and office technical back-up, planning of sales operations and supervision of the sales team. He joined Cochrane Pump in late 1999, after lateral transfer from Cochrane Irrigation, a Division which was, in the past, part of the Cochrane Group of Companies. Phillip has vast wide range of experience in a majority of civil engineering and water engineering projects. He has experience in design and construction of pipelines, dams, civil works, irrigation schemes, laying and installations of pipelines and pump units in the mining sector, industry, water engineering related works and in exhibitions at field shows. Among various projects that Phillip has been involved in, he has also participated in the designs and construction of some big projects like the Ngezi Irrigation Scheme (216 ha), Fuve-Panganai (+/- 200 ha), Athlone Dam, Glen-somerset Dam (including the evaluation and re-design of its associated irrigation scheme of 400 ha). He has conducted pump technology training sessions for Government Departments (specifically the training of Irrigation Engineers in the Department of Irrigation), technical teams for various industrial companies in Harare.
